About
Fat Tuesdays was started after recipe developer and food stylist, Meg Yonson, couldn’t find any nice-to-look-at, practical kitchen equipment. She wanted to make products that are fun to use as well as being responsibly made and long lasting.
You can use Fat Tuesdays boards to prep, for serving, or for decoration. The boards are made from Australian-sourced plastic and made in a micro recycled-plastic factory in Botany, Sydney. We hope you love them as much as we do!
Sustainability
Our boards are created using 100% FDA food-safe approved, post-consumer HDPE plastic.
Each board uses up 2kg of plastic collected from local Australia sources.
We’ve designed the boards with no additional hardware to ensure the boards can be recycled, almost forever.
If you break or melt your board to no repair. Please email us at hello@fat-tuesdays.com and we will organise for your board to be recycled through our manufacturers into more boards and provide you with a voucher towards a new one.
Food safe
The Fat Tuesdays boards are made using FDA-approved food safe HDPE.
The boards are BPA-free.
Manufacturing
We use Defy Designs are the manufacturer of Fat Tuesday’s products. Defy are a team of brilliant people who turn plastic waste into useful products in their micro recycled-plastic factory and they put so much care into the making of each board.
